What is The Den?

The Den is the squad’s base between battles. It is where you manage Operators, equipment, facilities, Intel, and decisions that shape the campaign outside a mission.

Bonds and cross-training

Squad Bonds connect Operators through shared missions, Operations, Den interactions, and combat support actions. When a Bond reaches a new level, both Operators can receive a permanent Cross-training benefit, while Focus Points from Bond growth can improve the Focus Tree. The exact progression thresholds and complete reward tables are To be confirmed.

Read the dedicated Bonds guide for Bond growth, decay, Dilemmas, and farming routes. The Cross Training guide covers the permanent pair bonuses and how to choose between the available options.

Upgrade Facility and Den Level

The Upgrade Facility divides permanent improvements into Facilities, Crew, and Weapons. Build Slots and Cycles limit how quickly projects finish, while Den Level and Zone Influence can affect which projects become available. See the Den Upgrades guide and Upgrade Facility guide for the current planning rules.

Den Level increases through activities that list Den Level in their reward panels. Side missions on the Missions tab and selected Zone Influence tiers can provide the points, while exact thresholds and unlocks remain To be confirmed. Use the Den Level guide when comparing a level reward with a Capacitor, Contact, or equipment reward.

Intel and Operations

Intel is spent to launch non-combat Operations from the Holotable. Tactical Missions are the main Intel source, while interactable items, dialogue, Faction-related rewards, and Zone Rewards can add more. Operations and side missions can expire with the Cycle, so check the timer before moving to the next Tactical Mission.

The dedicated Intel guide explains the resource cap, Operations, Influence, and Cycle planning. For limited permanent resources, see the Capacitor farming guide.

Romance status

The game confirms Bonds and relationships within The Den. A complete romance system, romanceable characters, romance routes, and romance outcomes are To be confirmed. This page will add those details when an official source or a verified in-game reference confirms them.
