Find star wars zero company capacitor rewards through Holotable missions, Zone Influence tiers, and Operations before limited opportunities expire.

The direct answer

Capacitors are rare, limited resources in STAR WARS Zero Company. You cannot buy them, and their main use is permanent development at the Upgrade Facility in The Den. The reliable approach is to inspect every Holotable reward, pursue the listed Zone Influence tiers, and choose the Capacitor branch when an Operation offers one.

Capacitors are campaign-limited, so missing a node can reduce the upgrades available in that run. Rewards appear after a successful mission rather than simply after deployment. A failed mission provides nothing, which makes scouting, injury management, and mission selection part of the farming route.

Check mission rewards first

Open the Rewards panel on every Holotable mission before launching it. Capacitors can appear on story missions, side missions, and optional contracts, so checking only the main story board can miss a useful reward. Scan every available node during the current Cycle because a time-limited mission can disappear when the strategic clock advances.

The most direct example is Smugglers’ Den during the Jedi Undercover chapter at Courtsilius. Its listed reward is +3,000 Credits and +1 Capacitor. The reward is tied to successful completion, so reaching the deployment screen is not enough to secure it.

Optional contracts can also list Capacitors in their reward panels. Their value depends on the current map and Cycle timer, yet the same inspection rule applies. If the node shows a Capacitor, compare its difficulty, injury risk, and expiration window with the other deployments before committing the squad.

The three reward categories have different timing rules. A mission reward is visible before deployment, an Influence reward appears when the Zone threshold is reached, and an Operation reward depends on a branch that can remove the alternative permanently. Checking all three screens prevents a Capacitor from being treated like a repeatable currency.

The complete Upgrade Facility feature list is not confirmed. Capacitor upgrades are permanent and important to The Den, while the exact feature list and full cost of each upgrade are To be confirmed. Save the resource for a facility choice that supports the company’s next strategic need.

Use Zone Influence tiers

Zone Influence has three listed thresholds. Tier 1 requires 20 Influence, Tier 2 requires 30, and Tier 3 requires 50. Reaching a tier pays its reward immediately, so the Influence screen is the place to plan the next Capacitor opportunity.

Zone Herf gives +1 Capacitor at Tier 1. Later tiers can provide Bond experience and other rewards, which means the first Capacitor is not the only reason to continue building the Zone. The exact contents of every later reward should be checked in the current game state.

Zone Dorn gives +2 Capacitors at Tier 2, the largest single Influence payout in the current route. Tier 3 gives an Upgrade Facility Slot instead. That creates a choice between an immediate resource bundle and another permanent development opportunity, depending on the needs of the Den.

Two names appear for these zones, including Zone Herf and Zone Dorn in one version and Zone Earth and Zone Dorne in another. The final live spelling is To be confirmed. Use the Influence tab and the in-game labels as the authority when the names do not match.

Operation branches with Capacitors

For the separate tactical rescue details, see the Storm Basin mission guide. Keep that mission page distinct from this resource-farming guide.

Several Operations list a direct Capacitor outcome. In Back Channels, the Runa’s Connection choice gives a random Exquisite Utility Item, +1 Capacitor, and the Storm Basin Mission. This is a Critical Operation branch, so its timer matters as much as the reward.

In Quid Pro Quo, sending a team gives +4 Zone Herf Influence, +1 Capacitor, and +125 Den Level, with a moderate injury risk. The reward is attractive when you are close to the Herf tier, but an injured or irreplaceable Operator can make the risk harder to justify. Check the squad’s condition before taking the branch.

Job Ain’t Done offers another direct route. Stealing the equipment records gives +6 Zone Esk Influence, +1 Capacitor, and +1,000 Credits. The other Operation choice permanently locks out that Capacitor for the run, so the decision cannot be treated as a temporary detour.

Forgotten Call gives +1 Capacitor and +250 Credits when you choose to salvage it, but the Bond decreases. Ship Adrift I gives +1 Capacitor when you choose to steal his Capacitor. These branches show why a Capacitor route can involve tradeoffs beyond the resource itself.

How to protect a limited supply

Do not assume that every mission reward can be recovered later. The Holotable shows the current opportunity, and its Cycle timer determines whether the node survives long enough for an injured squad to return. A mission that expires before completion can take its Capacitor with it.

Plan around the reward panel, not around a generic farming loop. If a story or side mission has a Capacitor, secure a healthy squad and complete it successfully before spending the next Cycle on a lower-value activity. If an Operation has a direct Capacitor branch, record the alternative reward before choosing because the locked branch may never return in that campaign.

Keep the Upgrade Facility in view when spending other strategic resources. A grenade, scope, Contact, Bond boost, or Credit payout can be useful, yet Capacitors are specifically tied to permanent Den upgrades. The best choice depends on the next Facility unlock and on whether the current squad can safely complete the mission that supplies it.

A practical Capacitor route

At the beginning of each Cycle, scan every Holotable node and open each Rewards panel. Mark story, side, optional, and Critical Operations that list Capacitors, then compare their timers and injury risks. This gives you a finite priority list instead of relying on a reward appearing by chance.

When Zone Influence is close to 20, 30, or 50, check whether a mission or Operation can cross the threshold before the next deployment. Herf Tier 1 and Dorn Tier 2 are the clearest listed targets, while Dorn Tier 3 supports an Upgrade Facility Slot. Do not count a Zone reward until the required Influence is actually reached.

Complete the chosen mission successfully, then return to The Den and review the Upgrade Facility. If the resource came from an Operation, remember that another branch may have permanently removed it from the run. The total number of Capacitors available across every campaign path, and whether later content adds more sources, are To be confirmed.
