Star Wars Zero Company Kaller mission guide
Follow Star Wars Zero Company Kaller missions, including Cold Metal, its sabotage route, Astromech grenade plan, extraction path, and other Kaller contracts.
The direct answer
Star Wars Zero Company Kaller is the setting for the optional Cold Metal mission. The objective is to destroy a Separatist power station that fuels one of its main bases. The recorded route sends an Astromech up the left side, uses grenades against grouped droids, plants the bomb, and retreats along the left catwalk toward extraction.
Cold Metal is not the only Kaller entry. The mission board also lists Unfinished Business as a main story mission, plus Stolen Goods, Abduction, Kaller 040, Kaller 045, Streamlined Form, and Siphoning Bind as additional Kaller contracts. The exact availability and classification of every entry outside this board state are To be confirmed.
Recommended route for Cold Metal
The recorded route recommends an Astromech, Hawks, Trick, and Heavy. The Astromech carries Impact Grenades and Droid Poppers and receives two charges for each throwable in that setup. Hawks takes a longer-range weapon and moves to high ground, Trick handles Rocket Strike and blaster fire, and Heavy applies pressure near the sabotage point.
This is a suggested composition, not a mandatory squad. The key requirements are area damage for grouped droids, a way to reach the bomb location, and enough strength to retreat after the interaction. Check the live briefing for the current squad restrictions before assuming that the same four Operators are available.

When combat starts, send the long-range Operator up the ladder on the left and continue to the second ladder. Place Hawks on a vantage point overlooking the large droid group below. Use the Astromech’s grenade against the biggest cluster, then put the remaining Operators on bridge cover.
Focus the Super Battle Droid before weaker targets when it controls the approach. Watch the elevated Commando Droid on the right because its grenade can punish a squad that ends a turn inside the blast radius. On the next turn, use another grenade and long-range fire against the elevated group before the reinforcements gather.
Plant the bomb and leave
After the opening groups are reduced, send Trick up the left ladder to join Hawks. Move Heavy toward the sabotage point while keeping to the left route. The Astromech plants the bomb, which immediately summons more reinforcements on the right and marks the extraction zone.
The mission changes after the interaction. Move Heavy and the Astromech up to the catwalk with the other Operators, then use the remaining grenade or Droid Popper charges against the tightly packed reinforcements. Use Trick’s Rocket Strike and blaster fire on the upper-left group when that route blocks the exit.
Leave through the left path and rush the extraction zone. A reinforcement wave cannot attack on the same turn it spawns, which creates a chance to move past the final Super Battle Droids instead of stopping for another full fight. Treat this as the recorded route behavior, while the exact timing in another build is To be confirmed.
What the Kaller board contains
Unfinished Business is the main-story Kaller entry on the mission board. The board gives only the short description that Gorga has a job for Zero Company, so the exact objective and battlefield are To be confirmed.
The optional list includes Stolen Goods and Abduction, plus entries labelled Kaller 040 and Kaller 045. Streamlined Form and Siphoning Bind appear as prototype or crisis-style objectives on the mission board. A location filter can therefore contain a personal mission, a normal contract, or a targeted upgrade encounter.
Read the mission type and objective on the Holotable. A Kaller label does not tell you whether the correct plan is sabotage, retrieval, rescue, elimination, or extraction. Objectives appear in the top-left interface and on the map, so that prompt should decide the squad’s route.
Kaller preparation and combat rules
Finish The Den actions before launching. A Tactical Mission advances the campaign to the next Cycle, while Operations and Missions can expire. Check the Operations tab for an Intel cost or reward, then review injuries, recruitment, equipment, and conversations before committing the mission that moves the clock.
Each Operator normally has three Action Points. Movement, attacks, abilities, and Overwatch compete for the same pool, so the Kaller route should reserve movement for the post-bomb retreat. Cover is more valuable when the squad is waiting for an interaction or a reinforcement wave.
Do not clear the whole map automatically. Cold Metal’s recorded route succeeds by prioritizing the power station and extraction path. If a different Kaller briefing explicitly requires all hostiles, follow that condition instead; the exact final prompts for the other entries are To be confirmed.
How to confirm the run
The Cold Metal route succeeds when the extraction objective completes with the full squad intact. If a Super Battle Droid catches the squad, the route likely stopped to fight the last wave instead of prioritizing the exit. If the result screen does not appear, check whether the bomb interaction finished and whether every required Operator is inside the marked zone.
The full Kaller mission table, exact reward values, map layouts, and the campaign conditions that reveal each entry are To be confirmed. For the current recorded route, keep the Astromech’s charges, use the left catwalk, plant the bomb, and treat extraction as the final objective.
